This will be my third year participating in the Margaret River Region Open Studios, and I’m delighted to once again open my studio doors to visitors.

2026 has been a particularly rewarding year for my art practice. I have been fortunate to sell a number of original works through local exhibitions and have been encouraged by the wonderful support from collectors and the wider community. One highlight was the sale of my significant piece Oriental Calm in the Visual Story Exhibition at the Margaret River HEART – Nala Bardip Mia Cultural Centre.
Other achievements have included the Quindalup Artists Exhibition, where I was honoured to receive both First and Third People's Choice Awards. I am also proud to be a finalist in the Jury Award at the Courthouse Gallery and Studio in Port Hedland.
In addition, I have been exhibiting work at Happs Gallery and the new Flow Gallery at the Edwards Winery complex, providing exciting opportunities to share my work with new audiences.
I’m excited to present a collection of new artworks that I’ve been creating over the past year. Alongside original paintings, there will be a range of prints and cards—favourites that visitors have enjoyed and collected in previous years.
Open Studios is always a wonderful opportunity to connect with people who love art, and I look forward to welcoming both familiar faces and first-time visitors. Come and enjoy a chat, some refreshments, meet my family, and say hello to Kingston, my beautiful greyhound, who is always happy to greet guests.
September is one of the most beautiful times of the year in the Margaret River region. The countryside is lush and green, wildflowers are beginning to bloom, and there is a wonderful sense of renewal as people emerge from winter. The landscape is bursting with colour, and there is a special energy in the air as the community embraces the arrival of spring. It’s the perfect season to explore the region, discover local artists, and enjoy the vibrant creative spirit that Open Studios brings to our community.
I look forward to welcoming you to my studio.
